date night

I have yet to actually write anything new on my NANOWRIMO novel. I have to sit my ass down and use Write Or Die, but I have to get caught up in English first. So, I've been avoiding both, obviously. I think I might jump around, and write all my favorite scenes with Lexie first. That might help.

Yesterday I went over to Josh's house, and learned all that's going to be going on over there. Lots of fun. They have a computer, so, yay. Also, I'll only be over there on the weekend, so I can call Chris and talk to him however much I want. Then maybe we can go for dinner when I get back.

I love being able to plan things with a person who is not family. It makes me feel... Normal. I'm a normal kid, putting off homework to hang out with my... wait for iiiiiiiiiiit... BOYFRIEND. Yeah, bitches, you heard me! BOYFRIEND. I have this constant state of smileyness that is getting annoying even to me, but I'm not giving it up for anything. I'm also determined to get caught up so my parents don't see a need to stop me from seeing him.

We had a date last night. Yesterday afternoon... He came over at 2:30 with a couple of bbc movies and series and stuff, and we ended up not watching any of them. We played Wii with my family, then had dinner, and cuddled on the couch while a movie was playing in the background and talked loudly over it with my family. Yeah... so, not the most orthodox first date, but I'm not a traditional person, am I? We aren't. He's coming back on Sunday to watch Holy Grail, and maybe we'll actually watch this one. Or maybe we won't. His ankle might be better, so maybe we'll go on a walk, and my family won't be able to spy. Maybe I'll get my first kiss. And we'll get him a facebook, so I can keep tabs on him... er. so my cousin can get pics of him. lol. Did I mention he didn't leave until 10:30? That's 8 hours of continuous companionship, and there weren't any awkward silences or weird conversations to stop those. We were talking, chatting, and it felt... normal. And the first time we talked on the phone, we talked for an hour, and other than an obscene amount of obscenety on my part, there was nothing different. Just straight conversation. It doesn't quite feel real, so I'm putting off making it "Facebook official" until I can talk to him about the whole flattery thing.

On a side note, avoiding fanfiction isn't working. When I'm stuck on an essay (such as now) All it does is make me go on xkcd, which, no matter how many times I've read it, I always go all the way through, looking for that one specific joke. So.... I'm on 743. Going backwards.
Love,
Fullmoonmidget

Boys! Boo's! Books!

So maybe posting every day isn't my thing. heh.
Last night was AWESOME! Me, Jess, and Julie went trick-or-treating. Didn't get a lot of candy, but enough to last me a while. (through November, maybe?). I actually didn't freeze my ass off, which is amazing, considering I was wearing a nylon dress, thin boots, and a crushed velvet cape. (that's not all, just all that was substantial.) Then, Alex decided we needed to do something because he wanted to go to a club, and it didn't get started till 10. So we went to a movie. We saw Red. AWESOME! It was some anniversary, so we got free popcorn and pop. And, of course, our Halloween candy. There were only like 4 other people in the theater.

There were some crazy people on our route. And some crazy pumpkins. I can't even remember, but there are some talented pumpkin-carvers in ******. lol. We walked up to some guy's front door, and next to it is a pumpkin with a piece of notebook paper taped to it that says "Imagine face here". Yeah. I just found my idol. So we ring the doorbell (thank god there was one, I have a fear of knocking on doors. Jess had a fear of this house.) and he opens the door. We say 'Trick or Treat' all out of sync, and he says "smell my feet. ha! tripped you up there, didn't I?" and gives us a crapload of candy. Yeah.

Now, We didn't get home until like 12:30, and I still hadn't read the Odyssey(read most of it today, but I finished a majority of the unit, so I gave myself a break. I'm talking to her tomorrow, so I just have to have enough of it finished to bs my way through that. Then I can finish on my own time, I actually started to like it.) so I couldn't get started on my NANOWRIMO novel. I'm doing that now. Just waiting for the greeting scene to solidify in my mind.

I have 2 babysitting jobs lined up this month. My cousins on Saturday and one of Morgan's classmates on the 19-21. Of course, that means I have to miss the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. Damn. but 60 bucks! And I don't actually have to miss it. The premiere is on Thursday night. But No way I'm going to be able to stay at Julie's on a school night. Her parents freaked out enough as it is.

CHRIS ASKED ME OUT!!!! actually, he asked Becca to ask me out. So I told her to tell him that he can call and ask me himself. Lol. I just have to make sure he actually likes me and isn't just flattered. Been there before. Not going again. But he asked! I'm so separated from people right now I might go out with Kayla Pajari. No. But... almost. No. But... you know what I'm saying, don't you?

I'm going to get back to writing. I have about... 1,467 words left to write tonight. Good thing I have this bar planned out really well in my head.
